I've been riding the bus a lot lately.
In the vain attempt that it might bring me somewhere that I haven't been.
But I always head to the same destination,
where the graffiti on the walls has aged
and on top of it all,
there are no windows.
There are no bridges to be built
There are no Saturday night slurred speeches
spoken through the intercom of my sleep,
my castle walls are being breeched
and you're too hard to reach.
