dare I let these words escape my mouth once again? every night this time, I find myself writing about my old friends and how they pick up and left with everything that I loved, who I became and who I am this day, when you were around when you weren't here. why'd you have to go and break my heart. I swore I'd never let it happen. I am dead, I am dying.

I Used To 03:26
I used to make you laugh when I was a young boy. you said things like “you’re so funny” Then I came to terms with who I was I couldn’t make you happy anymore I had trouble making myself wake up each day. I had trouble starting new You used to make me want to be something I wasn’t now I see so clearly that it was just a plot to use me for my funny features, that it was just a lie now that I’m older people tell me that I make them sad how I wish i was younger when I could still make people happy. I used to be so funny, now I am so sad Why do I deserve this life, I just want to say goodbye but i’m here to make you laugh

about

I recorded on my front porch during Hurricane Sandy in New Hampshire on 10/29/12. These words are how I felt on that day.
